In ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ Hrithik as monarch Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar is undoubtedly looking awesome! Produced by Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ is a love story of the greatest Mughal monarch Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar and Rajput Princess movie. Set in the sixteenth century, this poem romance begins as a marriage of alinement between two cultures and religions, for political gain, with the Hindu King Bharmal of Amer giving his daughter's hand to a Muslim Emperor, Akbar. With Hrithik Roshan as monarch Akbar and Aishwarya Rai as Princess Jodhaa this is a superior creation of the director Ashutosh Gowariker.




After releasing in all flick halls of India on 14th February 2008, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ is now the hottest discussing topic among all flick lovers, and naturally the name of Hrithik is coming discover due to his mind blowing acting. The enormity of ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ makes every scene look magnanimous. Hrithik is looking amazing in every part of the flick whether it’s a battle or a love seen. Ashutosh Gowarikar’s first right step for this flick was to select Hrithik as monarch Akbar. The latest addition in the list of grouping for giving Hrithik an imperative kudos is movie but the Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. On seeing Hrithik’s trance dance during the qawaali ‘Khwaja Mere Khwaja’, Amitabh Bachchan observed that not since Stanley Kubrick’s unreal sci-fi 2001: A Space Odyssey has there been such an apocalyptic moment on film! “That kudos meet blew my mind,” says Hrithik. Hrithik also said “Doing Jodhaa-Akbar wasn’t easy for me. That dance in a trance was especially difficult. When Ashutosh Gowariker explained the situation I movie didn’t know how to go about it! In that moment of sacred ecstacy what does my character experience? I was completely puzzled.” \"I joined the singers to dance with one hand pointing towards heaven, which was receiving the divine gift, while my other hand movie to the ground, which meant I was connecting the gift received from divinity to grouping down below. I was the medium, the recipient of divine communication,\" he said.

Commenting about the film’s organisation strategy, Siddharth Roy Kapur, director, UTV Motion Pictures said: “Sensing the hype and curiosity created around Jodhaa Akbar in the US market, we released 129 prints of the film, the highest for any Hindi flick released in the US. In India, we have released 500 physical prints and 400 digital prints and since there are no major Hindi movie, we expect Jodhaa Akbar to do very well.”
